Owners Margareth & Erik Gommers started the "Barragem Restaurant" in February 2008. After totally renewing the place they had an excellent openening in March 2008. The complete kitchen is rewired, refitted and provided with new kitchen appliances. New toilets were put in, new tiling, the whole premises got a fresh paint and the furniture was replaced by new tables and chairs. The outside terrace was thoroughly cleaned, including the forrest terrace and everything became yellow and red; a very exciting colorpalette!

From the opening on the restaurant & terrace gradually got a very good reputation. Reasons for that are the quality of the food and the very special atmosphere..... Witch Gretel does the cooking and comes out of her kitchen from time to time to "greet" her guests and to inspect if everyone has a good time....(are you?)
